Our basic interest bearing checking account designed to allow you access to your funds while you earn interest.
- An initial minimum deposit of $50 is required to open this type of account.
- The monthly service fee of $5 will be waived if you maintain:
* A minimum daily balance of $500 in your account. or
* A minimum daily balance of $3,000 in a like-named Savings or CD. ($1,000 minimum daily balance in a Savings or CD for Senior Citizens)
- Your Interest Rate and Annual Percentage Yield may change. At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account at any time.
- Account Fees may reduce your earnings.
- Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every monthly statement period and begins to accrue on the business day of your deposit.
- We use the daily balance method to calculate interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
- Unlimited check writing & ATM transaction privileges with this account.
- Images of your checks will be included with your monthly account statement.
- You may have access to a no annual fee ATM or Debit card. (debit card issued upon approval)
- Your Statements, Images, and all deposited items are available to you in a "Digital Format" (CD) on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. (registration & fee required)
- 24-hour convenient account access through our Telephone Call Center and our Online Banking Net-Teller service. (registration required)
